For too long now the "Family Law Court Circus" has been allowed to perpetrate injustice against Aussie battlers. The children, parents and families who have been exposed to this injustice are now saying "enough is enough".
There has been a consolidated lobby growing at the grassroots where aussie battlers have made the decision to "use their vote wisely". There are also a number of Independent candidates running in seats all over Australia who are seeking meaningful Family Law Reform.
In Australia 3 Aussie Dads commit suicide everyday because of the decisions and actions of the "Family Law Court Circus" that alienates parents from their children and allows false allegations to be aired in court without any consequences. This has opened the flood gate for false allegations and those who become trapped in this system know that "he who lies most wins". "The Family Law Court Circus" pits mothers against fathers and vice versa and also turns parents against grandparents in many instances. The true victims of these actions are, of course the children.
I am writing to let you know that I am one of those Australian citizens who will be watching for your response to this and will be waiting to hear what you as an elected member of the people are prepared to do about this silent killer of aussie battlers. I am not prepared to allow for more children to be separated from their parents or for innocent victims to have to bear the burden of false allegations, or for mother to have to hand over their children knowing they will be abused by the other parent. I am demanding that you commit to solving these problems and support a "zero tolerance of false allegations" the "rebut able presumption of shared parenting". If you or your government are unable to provide the safety and protection to your constituents that they deserve, then I will vote accordingly.
Reign in the family court lawyers and develop legislation that will force them to represent their clients in a fair and democratic manner rather than encouraging false allegations and stripping individuals of their cash and assets. I want to see YOU make them accountable and abolish the practices that are occurring that drive people to suicide or force them to give up because their money has run out. If you want to be in government then you must take responsibility for this monster that is out of control and ruining the lives of so many. There is a silent majority who have woken up and will no longer tolerate what has been allowed for so long.

False allegations do not occur in just the Family Law Courts. Many lawyers in summing up with mitigating circumstances have been known to make outrageous claims.
Example one:
A man was convicted of an alleged unprovoked assault and in summing up, the lawyer alleged the victim had been cruel to his dog and the accused was touted as a 'highly respected' man and could not bear to see a defencless animal hurt. My parents knew the accused and he was neither highly respected nor reactive to any animal cruelty.
Example two
Two men were convicted of breaking into a beach shack and smashing the inside and throwing food stuffs everywhere. I read in the paper their names would be withheld from publication as one man's wife was having a difficult pregnancy and there was a real need not the jepardise the life on the unborn baby. It wasn't until the mother-in-law of one offenders accidentally spilled the beans that I became aware of who they were and that there was no pregnancy. The baby had been born some months prior to the court hearing.
Example three
I had just given evidence in a not guiltly plea for a drive disqualification matter and I sat outside the court and listened to the defence lawyer summing up. He told the court I was very dishonest and that I would arrest people as a favour for others. I was furious. The offender was still convicted. I advised the prosecutor if there was a repeat of such lies, he was to challenge it and call for evidentiary proof. The same lawyer then tried to allege in another matter that I was having an inappropriate relationship with with a woman who had been assaulted by her husband and I had reported the husband for this offence. When the prosecutor level the allegation at me I advised him that this had to be challenged as there was no improper relationship and the only relationship was of a professional nature in that she was treasuer/secretary on the local fitness club and I was the president. We met regularly for club business, the club being set up as a diversion for wayward youth. Further more the assault had occurred because the husband had been with his mistress that evening and when he got home in a drunken state, there was no tea on the table so he assaulted his wife. When I located the accused to interview him for the assault, I found him at his mistresses address.
The whole bloody system needs to be overhauled and whilst evidence without oath (unsworn evidence) is not deemed perjury, if untrue it should be treated as misleading the court and dealt with as a criminal offence.
The big problem with the Family Law Court is the will of the Court is often not followed (eg Family Court Orders are continually breached) and when police are advised, they have no power to act. It is up to the complainant to see their lawyer and have the matter brought before the court - usually at enormous expense.
These matters shold be treated as a breach of law and investigated like any other law breach and prosecuted by the (Federal) police.
