One looks at the Family Court of Australia and the prolific Government Departments, both State and Federal, that are entrusted with the care of our children and just shake our heads at the complete and utter disdain shown by them all.
These are the courts in this wonderful country of ours that will sit in judgement on some totally irresponsible person whom sits in a hotel and gets him/herself so completely paralytic as to be incapable of exercising effective control over their own actions, then commences to wreck havoc on the rest of the unsuspecting society. Ruining numerous lives of those around them.
But Lo and behold, does the court find them responsible for their actions? No. They blame the hotel for giving them the alcohol. They blame the hotel for letting them spend all their money on the poker machines. They blame the hotel for everything this person does. And they also blame the hotel for not serving them or letting them play the pokies. How ludicrous are we getting!
These very same courts, up to the highest in the land, refuses to safeguard our most precious assets, the very future of this country, our children.
They will happily, and in some cases forcibly remove the genetic bond between parents, grandparents and the whole family lineage. They will remove them from the normal family/parental guidance and then refuse to acknowledge they have a 'duty of care' towards those same children?
How can any Government justify the taking of a fourteen (14) year old girl away from loving parents and then allow her to become a prostitute using hard drugs and living in a sexual relationship with a man almost three times her age.
Not only was she taken from the family home and allowed into this sordid world of drugs and prostitution, but the male wasn't even charged for having sex with a child!
Are we living in noddy land? What planet are we living on? Just who's minding the store?
This is only one of many thousands of cases of a similar nature. What are our elected representatives doing about it? Get on the phone and ask them. This is unacceptable for any society. We need to get the control back to the parents where it belongs, that's both parents, because children need the input of both, as well as the rest of the family tree.
If you think someone's minding the store then have a look at the new SEX EDUCATION they are about to start teaching year 8 - 10, it states openly that they advocate sex as young as 12 years old??? Yes I'm not kidding
